Meh ambiance but the service, food, and prices can't be beat. I have to cash in on the 50% sushi every time I'm in town.
I've been in to Ichiban for Carryout Sushi four times in the past, and have ALWAYS been satisfied. Rachel, *the hostess*, has always tended to my every need while I've ordered at the register. I returned on 04/02/24 and Rachel showed me a saved merchant receipt from Jan 2024 with my name on it and a scribbled note. Rachel had saved the receipt with my name that she'd hand written on it, and her additional note saying that Ichiban owed me an item that they failed to include with my January order. This was almost TOO incredible for me to comprehend. In the midst of her hostess duties, a cluttered cash register area, and hundreds of customers who'd come and gone since that time, Rachel remembered this small debt to a customer. I was almost speechless at this incredibly wonderful level of Customer Service on the part of Rachel and Ichiban. How could I not be a loyal indebted customer now after such a kind act of wonderful Customer Service. Thank you Thank you Thank you to Rachel! The item was small. But Ichiban's memory about it was INFINITE, and NOBLE! And EXTRAORDINARY!
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have five stars I was a little iffy about the 50% off the sushi but this is my second time coming here the food is amazing I would definitely recommend this place!!
Best deal worthy of a 4.0 mention is the Sushi 50% reduction special. See post. My Soror sister loved the shrimp tempura and I can agree. Enjoyed the dining experience. Rainbow roll was fresh and delicious. Service was not quick but good sushi are worth the wait in my opinion. If travel ever returns to this area, so will a return visit here for sushi rolls!
I heard about this place from some of my coworkers who frequent it for their lunch specials. I was craving some sushi today so decided to give it a try. It is in a large shopping center close to many stores and other restaurants with plenty of parking. Once walking in you will notice this store is kind of small on the inside so it makes since why most people take food to go. However, there are booths as well as tables to choose from if you decide to dine in. They also have interesting Asian themed wall art and lighting to enjoy. They have an amazing 50% all sushi running (different days if your dinning in vs carrying out) so I decided I would try an additional roll so I selected the following along with a seaweed salad and it comes with a coke all for $24 Found Nemo Roll: Bacon, Crab Inside: Salmon, Wasabi Mayo, Yum Yum Sauce Shrimp Tempura Roll: Tempura Shrimp, Avocado, Cucumber, Crab Stick, Unagi Sauce Everything tasted amazing and has definitely won me over for future visits not only for the sushi but to try the ramen as well. The staff is attentive, friendly, and inviting to make even us first timers feel welcomed. They gained a new customer toady!
